Nice weather for ducks

This is my first processed and uploaded attempt at a HDR image. Its a shame about the ducks moving in the shot, i tried to clean this up in Photoshop but they were left lifeless unlike the rest of the shot.
I’m open to all critique on this shot, i want it, i need it. So help me out and tell me how this shot could improve.
I’ve a bunch of other bracketed shots i took over the last weekend, and i’ll get round to getting some of those processed as well.
Oh, and i really need a tripod, i just put the camera on the ground for this and held it there as its front heavy. I’ll get there eventually. Anyone fancy buying me some more camera gear? please?
