Tonight i was messing with long exposure..

Tonight i thought i’d take a walk along the SouthBank in London and try my hand at some long exposure shots. I’d not really tried to do these with my new camera yet, and thought this would be a great place to start.

Considering i dont have a tripod, i think i did pretty well at using my hat as a rest and to prop the camera up at times in some of the shots, and i forgot to take my wireless release so had to make do with the 2 second delay. Lots of the pictures didnt make the final cut, came out blury as i moved the camera while trying to hold it still with my fingers in the flash shoe.

Here’s a selection of the shots i took, some came out pretty well, with exposure times between 4 and 60 seconds. Still need work, but not to bad for my first try.
