Nothing Beats A Real Log Fire – 28/365
Tonight I’m round a friends house, preparing a speech I have to do tomorrow in front of a load of students at a University he teaches at.
He has a real fireplace, which is actually in use, so it got put on tonight to warm the place up a bit.
Eeeek I’m scared about tomorrow!
The Meta Ball 27/365
Taken somewhere in London today. I wondered off Oxford Street in an attempt to fnd the BT Tower, and get a little lost trying to find some nice things to shoot. This was in a shop window somewhere.
You’re Fired! – 26/365
This is a nice little inspirational piece we have in the office.
I have no idea where it originally came from, but it’s been there for ages.
Nothing else to add.
Happy weekend!

STAND – 25/365
Another wet evening tonight. *sigh*
Walked down to somewhere i thought might make a good shot for tonight, but couldn’t really get it because f the weather.
Need to get some bags to put over my camera in the rain i think. Living in England, they’ll come in useful 364 days of the year i should think.
This is just a shot of a temp bus stop somewhere near Victoria Station. Tube’s go down, people get to stand out in the rain instead. Fun times.
Hopefully the weather is a bit better tomorrow, been sucky all week!
The Magic of Motown – 24/365
This was just a quick walk by (and duck down a bit) shot from this evening.
It was stickered up all the way round, both sides front and back.
Not sure quite what i make of it, but it caught my eye so chose it for today.
Too Many Cooks Spoil the Brew – 23/365
Nothing fancy today. Went out for dinner with Charley and this is a shot of the chef’s at work, and a Macbook Pro.
You can go into this restaurent for breakfast and surf the web for free. Nice of them

Roll in, Roll out, Roll up to the Bunny Club – 22/365
I saw a mention of the bunnies being at Spitalfield Market today, so I made the mission over there after work and hunted them out. They were on the path when i got there, earlier on and over the weekend they had been on the grass, but that was looking pretty worn out so i guess they moved them.
Nothing to fancy today, 10 second exposure, had a few goes at it, and tried a HDR as well, but went for this one as it has a plane going behind the building in the background, you can see its blinking lights and trail.
My mission got cut short by a bunch of art students showing up to dress the bunnies in scarfs and hats and shooting some clips for a video project… Thanks. It was to cold to hang around and wait for them to leave so i just went home.
What’s That Coming Over The Hill.. – 21/365
Is it a monster?
I didn’t really go out today, but I didn’t want to just upload an old photo for todays part of the project. I’ve not really taken photo’s of toys and stuff like that before and included them on my feed, and so many people do i thought I’d give it a go.
This is a little night light i bought from Ikea a few years back, it usually just sits on my shelf as a toy, but I thought it might make a good model today. I sat it in my garden in the grass and set the camera up on a my Gorilla pod really close to the ground. Tried to get the grass in really sharp focus, and the light just in focus enough so you could still kind of make it out. The light lights up the grass quite well i think, and makes for quite a nice eerie shot.
Needs to be seen in full screen large size to get the full effect: www.flickr.com/photos/lonelycoo/4376440743/sizes/o/
Also, no editing other than a crop and straighten!
Nice Weather for Ducks – 20/365
Ducks in a river near Kings Cross in London. Not much else to say about it really
Well, lots else about it really, but in short I’d highly recommend anyone to attend a Shoot Experience if they have them near you. http://shootexperience.com/events/home/PUB
I went to the Capture Kings Cross event this weekend with a couple of my friends. None of us particularly good photographers, but we thought it might be fun to attend a photo treasure hunt for the day. There was a turn out of around 200 people, in 75 or so groups. 8 clues to work out and try to find the place referenced or take a picture to do with the clue to answer it.
They organise a few other events over the year, some the same idea of a treasure hunt, other you get clues to photograph which in turn tell part of a story which is put together in the end by everyone else’s photos as well.
It was really fun, and we actually won a prize for best photo answer to one of the clues which was good (not this photo).
The Gates To Green Park – 19/365
The weather was a bit better when i went out after work on Friday. I didn’t have much time as i had some friends coming over for weekend, but i managed to make it back down to Buckingham Palace to try and get some longer exposures that i’d wanted the night before.
This is one of the gates that lead into Green Park. I’ve still not figured out how to get the whole shot in focus, it’s currently only really the gates in this one. I’m sure i’ll figure it out sometime.
