Spalding Flower Parade at The Riverbank – 90/365
Every year Spalding has a Flower Parade. People have travelled from far and wide over the years to come and see tractors dressed up in wire frames covered in Tulips. The streets are packed with people, but for the younger generation the riverbank has always been the main attraction. Hundreds of people descend on the banks outside the Poacher pub, bring their own drinks and get sloshed in the sunshine with their friends. The Police threatened to thwart everyones plans this year, saying that they would take the alcohol off people as they were arriving, but this clearly didn’t happen.
This photo only shows about half the street, but it was almost as packed back up the other way towards High Bridge this year.
Nothing stops the fun.

Found this on a wall in Kings Cross on Friday. I didnt get much time to shoot it and the rest of the words surrounding it before i was moved on for being on a building site.
Told the guy they need to put some signs up as nothing was stopping me from being there.
Annoyed about that as there was lots round there which caught my eyes and i wanted to try and capture.
B the time they finish building all the new parts round there, the wall will be gone. Damn them!
